This time last year, we shared how we refocused our operations by moving the majority of our manufacturing to a new factory in North America. Along the way, we sourced fabrics and materials from local mills, tested each product to ensure proper fit, and held every detail of quality and construction to a higher standard.
This shift didn’t just improve our product, it also reduced our carbon footprint. By producing closer to home, we’ve been able to cut down on emissions, rely on locally sourced materials, minimize packaging tied to long-distance shipping, and reduce overproduction. It’s a change we made because these issues genuinely matter to us, and we want to do our part for the environment in a meaningful, measurable way.
While you may already be familiar with our factory transition and its impact, there’s more to our commitment than where and how we produce. Spin is a part of the Fair Labor Association, a collective of universities, civic organizations, and socially responsible companies working to protect workers’ rights worldwide. This was a critical factor in our search for a North America-based factory. We were intentional about partnering with a facility that met strict labor standards and aligned with our values.
We’re also proud to partner with One Tree Planted. When you check out on our website, you’ll have the option to plant a tree for $1. Through this partnership, and with your support, we have helped plant over 4,200 trees. That offsets approximately 47 tons of CO2 emissions each year and contributes to the restoration of forests and natural habitats.
At Spin, these commitments are built into how we operate every day. We think carefully about what goes into our products, how they’re made, and the impact of getting them into your hands. If you ever have questions about our processes, feel free to reach out at Info@SpinUltimate.com.
