On May 1, 2014 we announced that Spin is merging with VC Ultimate. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for us as we believe the combination of our two companies will create the strongest Ultimate apparel company in the world. I can't wait to combine our product lines and operations and am so excited for our teams, staff, and partners who will benefit from working with a stronger, more robust Ultimate apparel provider.
Over the next few months, you'll start to notice a few changes here and there, but by and large, we're going to stay true to our roots by providing extraordinary personal attention for all of our teams and partners and by growing Ultimate however we can, especially in Atlanta and the South where we will run Spin and VC's U.S. sales and operations.

VC Ultimate and Spin Ultimate merge to create the strongest Ultimate apparel company in North America
Two of Ultimate’s top brands join forces to bring the highest quality products, customer service, and experience to the Ultimate apparel market.
Atlanta, GA/Toronto, ON – (May 1st, 2014) VC Ultimate and Spin Ultimate are excited to announce that they have merged to form a new superpower in the Ultimate market, VCS Ultimate. Combined operations for VC and Spin will mean increased production and sales capabilities, improved customer service and a comprehensive geographic reach that spans all of the United States and Canada.
The company, which will market both the VC and Spin brands under a single umbrella, will maintain two headquarters locations--it will continue to run Canadian sales and operations out of Toronto, and its U.S. sales and operations will be based in Spin's hometown of Atlanta. Additionally, the company will maintain sales and staff for both brands in Chicago, California, the Northeast, and Mid Atlantic regions of the U.S.
VC and Spin have been working together for almost 10 years, when they started collaborating on merchandising projects for USA Ultimate. “The idea to merge came to us last fall, after we co-merchandised the 2013 Triple Crown Tour championships,” said Dan Konisky, President of Spin. “As we began to work more closely together, we realized that we shared the same vision for the Ultimate apparel market, and that we would both benefit tremendously by joining forces. It’s incredibly exciting to be working with the most experienced team in the business. I have the utmost respect for the company and am continually impressed with the highest quality gear that VC has created over the last 16 years.”
VC Ultimate, headquartered in Toronto, Canada, has been manufacturing its own custom-made performance gear since 1998 and first brought sublimation to the Ultimate market in 2001. “We’ve always been impressed with Spin. Its designs are vibrant and unique, and the company has an impressive presence in the Youth market. Plus they have an imposing base of operations in the South,” said Don Cooper, VC’s founding partner and Production Director. “Using our unique knowledge of local, just-in-time manufacturing, we are bringing a new level of quality and performance to Spin’s product line. Joining forces also provides the opportunity to renew our efforts for product design and development. We’re excited to launch a number of new premium products over the coming months.”
As a merged company, VC/Spin will capitalize on the best that both companies have to offer with talented leadership and staff. “I’m extremely excited about the experience that Dan brings to the table at the Director level,” said Adriana Withers, VC’s Sales Director. “His skills as a business manager complements ours in sales and production, and will allow us all to focus on improving efficiency, innovation and design in our respective roles.”
